Teamwork!

The Providence Team stops for a minute to smile after working hard at Serda's Coffee House in Mobile. Aren't they so happy?

Stephanie Barnz is awesome.

Test Photo - Whit Genesi

A very cool test photo taken by Peter Lake. Whit is a character in the movie who apparently likes contrast in his rooms.

Team Picture

The logistics team was hard at work. But then they got a rush for a quick thumbs up. Can't say I blame them. Look at that poise.

Rehearsal

Kyle Bedwell stands dramatically, waiting on lines from Susana Rodriguez, while Peter Lake dramatically monologues on a wood kiddie boat.

A Film Called Providence

Hi! So glad you stopped by. This is the home base for a new film called Providence. This film is being produced by a bunch of young creative minds dedicated to clean, quality entertainment. We've been working for about a year now, and as such our team has grown to around 15 people. Pretty cool. Read below for some FAQs...and remember, we'll be updating often!

Who is Backing the Film?

A Limited Liability Corporation called Bay Light, LLC. This LLC came together to make a film celebrating the Christian faith. The idea is also to empower young creative minds in an environment where they do not have to compromise.

What's the Movie About?

Providence is a faith-based, feel-good romance. It chronicles a series of God-incidences in two people's lives that places them together. Providence shows how love requires self sacrifice, and that in sacrifice (even though sometimes it's hard!), one finds true joy in the path God has laid for them.

When Will it be Released?

Ah, the grand question. Well, here's the deal - we've got to finish principal photography (taking place late summer/early fall 2011), then master and edit. We're looking at several different distribution options and want to make the right decision. Keep checking this site for updates!
